Loading photos onto Moab 4-Wheeling isn't complicated if you know what to do. The most important thing to remember: you CANNOT load photos directly from your computer onto this site. You need to use remote hosting. Remote hosting is when a photo is loaded up onto a webpage (i.e. I use photobucket.com) and then rather than our site holding the photo, you just put a link onto the hosting site, and that's where our site gets the picture.
In order to do this, the photo you want to show must be on a site which allows remote hosting (Community Webshots, for example, does NOT allow remote hosting). Once you have access to the photo you want on the remote hosting compatible website of your choice, the easiest way to load the photo is to right click on it, go to properties, and copy the image location of the photo (this usually ends in something like .jpg or .img, NOT .com).
Once you've copied the photo, open the post you want to add the photo to on this site. Determine where in the post you want to add your photo, then click the small button above the smileys that looks like a small framed picture. It will pop up with this:
URL[/img
only it will have a "]" at the end of the second "img". Delete the letters "URL", and paste your photo's address (the one you copied) between the two "img"s. Once you paste it, hit enter after the end of the address so that the second "img" is on the next line directly below the first "img".
So your message will look something like:
www.yourremotehostingwebsite/yourpictureaddress.jpg
[/img
(with the last ] added, of course)
Hope this clears it up, I know it sounds confusing, but once you learn the process, it's pretty easy. If you have any questions, send me a pm.
