Here's one of the cars, it's an 83 SX-4. Kind of the one I've been searching for. 258, T-5, NP229 (thanks to a FSJ Wagoneer), 3.54 ratio axles, Lock Right's, A/C, spoiler, and factory alloys. It's my daily driver, so I try to go kind of easy on it. I drove this one down for Labor Day weekend and drove PSM, HR, and up Dump Bump twice. I can crawl right to the top of PSH but can't get over the top. Dump Bump Wall next to TipOverChallenge I'll post some of the 81 SX-4 which I'm building when I get them downloaded to photobucket. Moab EJS 2003 Golden Crack The proposed exocage, the bumper and winch are on and done, I'm removing the XJ Dana 30, and putting my HP 44 under it. Mick

Welcome to the site. I believe this is the first 4-wheeling car to join. Congratulations!

The Eagle is definetly Jeep's weird step-sister. Is this what happens when you mix a car and a Jeep,

I think so, another example of a car mixed with a Jeep would be the Liberty. The modern day Eagle Wagon. But it I guess the Liberty is Trail Rated so it will be welcomed.

That is one of the funniest things I've seen. ;D No offense meant. If there weren't pictures on-trail, I don't think I would believe it. How does it get up Dump Bump? What does it have on it (in layman's terms, please...or someone translate for me ;D). We drive a heavy pig of a full size Bronco and can't get up Dump Bump - and we have plenty of modifications.

In order to get up Dump Bump I have to go far to the right side. So far in fact my passenger front tire skims along the tall section. With only 12" onder the car at the skid plate, this is the only line that will work for me. The Eagle is way under rated, it will do things that it shouldn't, I mean what other CAR CAN GET UP THAT ? How many rigs have you seen make it with 26" tires?
All I can say is it works for me. I can't imagine driving anything else. I gutted my 79 Bronco to build my straight axled car. I found the car with opens would seriously embarass my Bronco with a spooled rear and 36"s. The bronco wouldn't run well at angles, and no matter how bad people dis the Carter BBD it does well at angles. Plus the low COG of the car instills lots of confidence.
The black car is basically all stock except the t-case, and lockers. I also built a traction bar for it because axle wrap is the enemy.
Keep trying you will get it!
Mick
PS. give me your address and I'll send you the footage on DVD.

I feel like I'm in trouble . Believe me, there was no disrespect meant. Wheeling is for all sorts of vehicles. If it works, great. It gives those of us stuck at the bottom of the hill something to watch. ;D
