It runs as well as can be expected on 3 1/2 year old gas (I've added some fresh gas, HEET, and carb cleaner, it just need to all work through the system). It doesn't like running too much when it's cold, but once it runs for a while it does fine.
I still need gauges, seatbelts, my CB mounted, and a few other odds and ends, but so far I'm loving it. One of my friends who used to work at a body shop is going to paint it for me as soon as we move into our new house and I have a garage.
I was just playing around out by Lion's Back today, and while going up an obstacle a guy who was out there noticed that my pass. side upper control arm wasn't attached to the frame. Somewhere the bolt either fell out or broke. Other than that, and replacing my electronic ignition controller because one of the wires was broken, everything has gone really smooth.

Dave, I am running behind on my project so I won’t have the tailgate to you on the 4th. Are you in a big hurry for it? What I need to do is put the old one back on so the new one will not get painted for a while. Todd

Todd The Sooner the better, but realisticly I proibably won't be able to paint the CJ until middle of Marchish. I'd like to have it by then. This will be the first Safari my CJ has been at since '99!!! I may drive the Commando on a few trails, but mostly it'll be the CJ.
