well my jeep is finally giving up - the engine is about to throw a rod in the worst way, so im trying to decide between a new engine or a new-to-me rig. she just keeps nickle and diming me into the ground so if any of you know of an XJ i can get for under 3k with decent miles let me know so i can check it out asap. in order to make use of my fairly new lift kit it needs to stay cherokee - none of the grand stuff

I'll keep an eye out, but for $3000 you might get something with just as many problems. Most "decent" vehicles are usually closer to the $5000 mark. FWIW.
Big Dave just bought a 86 XJ for $2000, but it needs a new computer, some new sensors, a new battery . . . .

ya i made myself drool over modified rigs for sale and had to remind myself i still have to have a daily lol. im also not sure i want to wheel a manual . . .
