I'm plannin a trip to Moab first week of May for the JeepsUnlimited Moab run. I'll be headed to Idaho to pickup a trailer so I'll haul my Jeep on the semi as I will have ramps for the trailer and will have room for the Jeep and the new trailer on the the dropdeck I am pulling with my semi. Will be nice to have a tow rig and be able to write off the travel expenses as business. I plan on staying most of the week and at least one full weekend. what Motels have semi truck parking? In the past I have stayed at the hotel down the road from Poplar Place with the large dirt lot next door no problem. Is that lot still empty and will I have any problems parking there for an extended period of time. I want to be able to park in a secure area without worrying bout getting tickets or told to move my rig. I need to make reservations fairly soon, any suggestions.

Hmmm, I know there's an empty lot behind the Motel 6 but you'd have to call and ask. Greenjeep might know of more places. All the hotels I can think of have parking lots that are too small to fit a semi into.

they park the BIG tow toys in the dirt lot just north of the Archway. I have a friend that always parks his 40' hummer hauler there with no problems

If they'll let us put our 35 inch road tires in their bike storage room, they certainly shouldn't mind some big rigs out in their dirt. ;D They seem to be good sports.

Super 8 and Motel 6 both have places you can park a semi, I know, I work at them both.

thanks for the suggestions, as soon as I get back from my next run Friday I'll try and call these places and see what rates are and if rooms are available for those dates.
