Well it's been a busy week since Labor Day, but here is how our weekend went. Saturday we were supposed to do Metal Masher with Drtsqrl and his wife, but unfortunatly earlier in the week my Commando decided to stop steering. So I spent Saturday replacing my tie rod end as well as my drivers side wheel bearings, seal, and hub which had blown up on me. Thanks to the help of a friend I got it done so I was able to lead Steelbender on Sunday. Judging by the pictures I've seen, Drtsqrl did a great job leading Metal Masher. Here are some great pictures of him and his wife. Rock Chucker Mirror Gulch Drtsqrl walkin up Widow Maker Hill!!! Sunday on Steelbender went great, I ended up with 20 vehicles. We did have a CJ-7 blow up their rear differential, but everything else went very smooth, although we did have a black TJ that tried over and over to roll on the Dragon's Tongue. Dragon's Tail Dragon's Head Dragon's Tongue This black TJ REALLY tried to roll, check out the 2 wheel action!! Monday we did Seven Mile Rim and had a great time, our friend Marty led it. Everything went wonderful, it sure is a beautiful trail, Dani is hoping to lead it for next year's Safari. Speaking of Dani, she did an awesome job being in charge this year. I heard nothing but good things about the whole weekend. She did great and will probably do it again next year.

Hey Dave, those are some nice shots! Guess I'll have to go down to Action Shots and check them out.
Glad you had a good time on SteelBender and Seven Mile. We had about 10 rigs for Metal Masher, and everyone was eventually able to climb Rock Chucker (except Susan in her stockTJ). On WidowMaker, we had two rigs besides myself make it up. When we got to the end of the trail, the skies opened up and poured! Needless to say, I got a bit wet. Then I ripped a hole in the sidewall of my right front tire (when I got home, in my driveway of all places!).

Where is the third one down on the second set of pictures taken? We started to check out Behind the Rocks over UEA and it looks like the hill just before Upchuck (can't remember it's name).

Yep, this is High Dive. Upchuck Hill is just off the right side of the pic. The day after you guys were there for UEA, we had 4 vehicle drive up High Dive, now THAT is interesting
