Well it looks like I found the first nights camp ground -- 16 miles out of greenville, about an hour north of Moab, 40 feet off the highway.
Anyways, Long story short - one of the accessory belts on my tow rig came off (6.9 Diesel -- early ford pickups). With it, it took out automatic transmission hose and well... the rest is obvious.
Tomrorow I"ll tkae a trip in to Napa and get what I need (16 miles away w/ Jeep). Replacing the tranny fluid hose and adding fluid looks easy, However how difficult is it to replace the accessory drive belt? (the motor has two belts... bizarre). Can anyone provide perhaps a 5 minute primer in belt changing? IT looks like I have to loosen a tensioner/fastner, put the new one on, and tighten it down again. Are there any secrets or anything else I should be worried about? Special tools that aren't in your standard wal-mart Jeep kit? I guess I'll have all day to figure it out =).
Thanks guys!
Isn't cell phone internet nice?

Hope you were able to get it fixed, belts usually aren't too hard to change, just make sure it is tight!!
