Okay, so I live in beautiful Colorado and we are getting HAMMERED with snow right now! I haven't driven my car in over a week, I hate bad roads so I have my husband drive me everywhere, and I miss seeing the sun! So I was wondering if anyone would like to torture me and tell me how great life is in Moab right now?!!

Yes, it has been pretty rainy up until yesterday. The forcast for the next week is sunny, dry, and mid-40's. Very nice. I'm hoping for more moisture, although my husband is ready for summer already.

In a major way I'm with you on that one! It has finally stopped snowing, but now it's colder than sin and we have snow up the kazoo!! There is talk about going snow wheeling this weekend, but I would gladly trade that for a desert run...

Our weather looks great for this weekend, come on over!!! ;D Don't tempt me! We did go snow wheeling last weekend, but I definitely need a slickrock fix. We are actually kicking around the idea of coming down within the next week or so. We were talking about next weekend, but according to the 10 day forecast, there's a storm coming in. YUCK! I suggested leaving here after dinner on Saturday and then hanging out till Tuesday. My other half didn't comment, but he did go into the garage and stare longingly at the Bronco tonight!! At this point it could go one of 2 ways...1, Chris says we have to be responsible grown ups and stay at home so he can work. Option 2 is throwing responsibility out the window and rolling into town sometime late Saturday evening, early Sunday morning. And on the note of option 2, do you know of a fairly cheap hotel that does a continental breakfast of some sort? We usually stay at the Aarchway in the winter, but something easier on the budget would help this trip.

I don't think Motel 6 has a continental breakfast, though.

I don't think Motel 6 has a continental breakfast, though. They don't offer any ammenities other than a bed and tollie, I speak from personal experience! I actually called a bunch of places this afternoon and I think the winner is the Sleep Inn. It's $39 a night with breakfast and a hot tub! Speaking of calling places, how do I get a Moab phone book? Sick and tired of calling information! Back to this weekend, I think it's pretty much a go. Chris never straight out said NO so I'm taking that ball and running!! Would you be available to wheel any of those days? We had kicked around Poison Spider, SteelBender, and Tower Arch.

Speaking of calling places, how do I get a Moab phone book? Sick and tired of calling information! Try discovermoab.com. It is pretty all-inclusive for Moab "anything you could want." Also, the Moab Chamber of Commerce puts out a guide that has all the lodging info (from camping to B&B's). I think you can get it from that sight too. Happy wheeling. ;D
