My 2nd trail to lead for the week, is the most popular trail in Moab, and that was very evident on Friday. We made great timing in the morning; we brought all 40+ rigs to the overlook by a little after 11. This gave those of us who wanted a chance to try out Hell's Gate. It was my first time up it, it's a lot of fun, just watch your line (MelAtwood almost learned this the hard way!). On the way up to the hot tubs is where the problems started. Basically from the Car Wash to Tip-over Challenge it was a parking lot!! People were packed in everywhere around The Big Hot Tub, Micky's Hot Tub and The Escalator. Most people were pretty good about letting us through, but it still took us almost 3 hours to get from the Car Wash and everybody up Tip-over. Coming down after Micky's Hot Tub. MelAtwood, my first mid gunner Moabchic, my second mid gunner Gene Day, my tail gunner. He has the COOLEST M715 I've ever seen!!!!1 Tip-over challenge proved to be a challenge, for some more than others, but we managed to avoid any tip-overs. Almost everyone gave it a try, I only noticed 4 or 5 take the go around. Most made it just fine, but a few needed a little assistance from a strap. Getting a little tippy. His wife trying to be brave! Moabchic's first time to make it up One bad army truck!!!!!!
