My first of 3 trails to lead. I used to think that Metal Masher was a boring trail, but I found that if you do all the optional obstacles it becomes a lot more fun!!!! Broncoman (My tail gunner) in the mini golden crack. Getting a little too verticle (he scared the crap out of the Action Shots photographer who was riding with him when he was balanced on his rear tires). Rock Chucker Doin' some spottin'. Mirroe Gulch MelAtwood, my mid-gunner Gunner making mure BroncoMan stays rubber-side down. Bringing up the rear is one tired puppy, his week is only half over too!!! We did have 1 Jeep end up on it's side coming up that last optional climb coming out of Mirror Gulch. On that same obstacle, I managed to wedge my front driver-side tire very securly under a rock, as I tried to power out of it I heard a loud bang. I thought I blown out a U-joint or snapped an axle, but actually it was my hub. . . again. Yep, the barely 36 hour old hub grenaded into 20+ pieces (I'm sure glad they have a lifetime warantee). So once again I'm down to 3-wheel drive . So no shot at Widowmaker today. I was really hoping to take on Widomaker again since I did climb it just a few weeks earlier, here's proof. This is the only vehicle which managed to make it up Widowmaker unassisted. 6-wheel drive only helped this guy rip a leaf spring off the frame. More pics HERE!
