So the usual group came down to Moab from G.J.for the RR4W's Xmas party on 1/14. We hit the trail around 10 in the morning and enjoyed beautiful weather all day. Unfortunately, we had a little mishap coming out of the creek on the first obstacle. My buddy Ken went up the right side of the ledge and blew the ears off the inner and outer shafts on the driver's side. He also lost the u-joint. In fact the parts literally shot out from under the vehicle. Being the trooper that he is, he still completed the entire trail in 2WD. We had a CJ-7, YJ, Willy's, CJ-5, and a stock TLC FJ60 (I think) in our group. Other than a few clearance issues with the TLC and the break that morning, the entire group ran with very little difficulty. We didn't get many pics, but once I get them downloaded, I will post some. That's all Folks!

It's very sad that a STOCK FJ60 can complete Cliffhanger, it's definetly not a 4 1/2 anymore!!
p.s. it was good seeing you at the Christmas party.
